Just a quick note to say how great the 41 moorings in New London Harbor are using the helix anchor system with Eco-Mooring Rodes.

After 4 years all the mooring gear has been removed and inspected with some wear on the galvanized hardware but the Eco-Mooring Rodes look in pretty good shape.

Than you for having one tested for us and providing us the results which the city was looking for. We look forward to the next 4 years and having a mooring field that is not only boater friendly, but environmentally friendly as well.

Hello Dave,

Thanks for coming by the Harbormaster Shop on Friday. The info and discussion about your Eco-Mooring Rode was much appreciated and goes a long way toward explaining the "stretch" characteristics and robust construction of this hawser.

The Eco-Mooring Rode you left for us to test last summer was placed on one of our largest moorings in Stage Harbor, to be used by transient fishing vessels as well as visiting sailboats and cruisers. It has had fairly constant use by many different types of vessels, including a large offshore scallop dragger during the months of December, January, and February. The strength and durability of this product was well proven during the last six months. Particularly noted was the attention paid to seizing and the addition of chafing gear and heavy duty thimble. I feel that this hawser would last for several seasons of heavy use.

We are currently evaluating our needs in regards to upgrading or replacing many of the rodes on our 35 plus Town of Chatham owned moorings and hope to place an order soon. Thank You

Theatrix Hawaii was recently asked by a high-end resort on the west coast of O'ahu to design and erect a large screen for a movie event. While this would normally be a routine matter, we were asked to build a stage in the water and to set the screen on the stage. After consideration of several ways to ensure the stability of the stage, we opted to use some helix anchors from BoatMoorings.com and the result was absolutely perfect. The stage was rock solid and there was never a concern that the wind or the water would affect the show. Many thanks to Dave and BoatMoorings.com for providing exactly what we needed.

SEQ Catchments is currently trialling the Eco-Mooring in several locations in Moreton Bay. To date, there have been no complaints with the new system and we are hopeful that ecomoorings will play a key role in the recovery of seagrass beds throughout Moreton Bay as part of our Seagrass Recovery Program. Jody Waters' customer support, enthusiasm, and practical experience has been invaluable as we've rolled out the Seagrass Recovery Program throughout South East Queensland.

Good Day  Dave,

This corrospondance is to advise that we have in the past been contracted by St. Petersburg Municipal Marina to annually inspect your product (Eco-Mooring System) that has been utilized in the St. Petersburg Mooring Field. We have found very little trouble with any of the components of the system during inspections outside of normal wear and tear. We believe this to be a quality product and would certainly be interested in being a contracted installer of this, or any of your other products.

We have a 39 foot Pearson center cockpit sailboat that stays on a mooring year-round in the British Virgin Islands. Three years ago we purchased the Eco-Mooring System and have been entirely satisfied. This product greatly reduces the swinging of the boat making it a lot easier on the boat and the mooring gear and has never failed. Wind is an ever present factor in this area and the center cockpit configuration creates greater swing to the boat. After 2 ½ years under these conditions the Eco-Mooring System has fared much better than methods we've used in the past. We just ordered another before the next hurricane season. It is well worth the cost to have this security along with the extended life of the rest of the mooring tackle.

Industrial Divers Corporation (IDC) has successfully installed Eco-Mooring Rodes for 38 regulatory buoys in Miami-Dade County from Sunny Isles Beach to Haulover Inlet. Additionally, IDC has used Eco-Mooring Regulatory moorings for marker buoys installed off John U. Lloyd State park in connection with US Navy projects. Eco-Mooring Rodes have been installed by IDC at Crandon Park Marina in Key Biscayne to replace aging and failing StormSoft down lines.
